The School of Physical Education and Sport Science of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) is participating in the ERASMUS+ MENS Project, which aims to develop strong institutional procedures for the specific contribution of sports and physical exercise in the prevention, therapy and rehabilitation of the Mentally ill.
Seventeen organizations and institutions from 12 EU Member States are participating in the project MENTAL EUROPEAN NETWORK of SPORT EVENTS (MENS)http://mensproject.eu, the objectives of which include: raising awareness, identifying new approaches, eliminating social discrimination towards individuals with mental health issues, establishing a European Mental Health and Sport collaborative network among others.
In this context, the project results and findings will be presented at the international conference to be held in Athens, Thursday, June 14, 2018 (9.00-16.00).
