The Laboratory of Adapted Physical Activity / Developmental and Physical Disabilities of the School of Physical Education and Sport Science of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) organized the Kickoff meeting of the Erasmus+ SPORT project "Swim your Way" in which five members of their staff participated. The kickoff meeting took place in Athens from 21-02-2020 to 22-02-2020.
The "Swim your Way" project aims to develop a Guide on how to teach swimming to four different groups of people with disabilities. The participating countries in this project are: Greece, represented by two organizations (the Swimming Club Asterias and the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens); Slovenia, represented by the SD Riba Swimming Club; Romania, represented by the National University of Physical Education and Sport in Bucharest; and Italy, represented by the nonprofit association, Euphoria.
The next "Swim your Way" transnational project meeting will take place in Ljubljana, Slovenia, from 15-05-2020 to 17-05-2020. This project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission.
