The Quality Assurance Unit of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens constitutes the structure of the institute, which was created on the 24th of July 2008, targeting at the organization, coordination and materialization of the Evaluation procedures and Quality Assurance in total harmonization and accordance with the demands of the statutory framework that is in effect in Greece (Ν. 3374/2005).
On the basis of the aforementioned statutory framework, the indicators and evaluation criteria used refer to the to the following four priority lines: (a) the quality of the teaching work, (b) the quality of the research work, (c) the quality of the curricula and syllabi and (d), the quality of the rest of the services (administration, student care, infrastructures ΤPE, transparency in handling financial resources, etc).
