One of the University of Athens’ oldest and largest Schools, the School of Philosophy has been a centre for the study and advancement of the humanities since 1837. Today, it comprises thirteen Departments, whose Sections offer a broad range of specialised and interdisciplinary programmes in the arts and humanities at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
The School encompasses a wide range of fields, including Classical and Modern Greek Studies, Linguistics, the literatures of other cultures, Classical and Modern History, Archaeology, Classical and Modern Philosophy, Education, Psychology, Theatre and Music.
