The School of Medicine of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) – Cyprus Branch (Nicosia) invites prospective students to submit an expression of interest for entry in 2026 to its Greek-taught Undergraduate Programme in Medicine. The programme has a standard duration of twelve (12) semesters and leads to the award of a Bachelor’s degree, in accordance with the applicable legislation. Expressions of interest / applications should be submitted using the attached form.
The Undergraduate Programme of the School of Medicine, NKUA – Cyprus Branch (Nicosia) is identical to the already accredited Undergraduate Programme of the School of Medicine at NKUA in Athens, which has been in operation since 1837.
The School of Medicine of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, the oldest and largest Greek-speaking medical school globally, has contributed uninterruptedly to education, research, and clinical practice for nearly two centuries. With thousands of graduates, a prominent presence in scientific publications, and an active role in international networks, the School is consistently ranked among the top 100–150 medical schools worldwide.
The launch of the School of Medicine of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) – Cyprus Branch (Nicosia) in November 2025 marked a historic step in further strengthening the ties between Greece and Cyprus in the fields of Higher Education and Health Sciences. It offers students the opportunity to study Medicine in a high-standard academic environment, backed by the guarantee of NKUA.
