Mr Georgios Saitakis, resident in Ophthalmology at 2nd Department of Ophthalmology, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Director: Professor Panagiotis Theodossiadis), was distincted after panhellenic examinations for attending the Lancaster course. It is worthy to note that every year only one resident in Ophthalmology from Greece takes the “E. Gragoudas” grant for attending this course, which is organized by Colby College and Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary.
